Ways to Pay

You can pay your bill automatically, by mail, in person, online and by phone.


Use the return envelope provided with your bill. Mail your payment to P.O. Box 100, Jefferson, GA 30549.

In Person

Bring your payment to the Jackson EMC offices located in Gainesville, Jefferson, Lawrenceville or Neese, where you can come inside or use the drive-through window during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you pay in person with MasterCard, Visa or Discover card, or ATM/debit cards with a Pulse, Star, NYCE or Accel logo, there is a fee for these transactions.* After hours, you may use the night depository box at these offices.


Make a FREE ACH payment using your checking account. You must login or register to use this service at ebill.jacksonemc.com. You can pay as a guest using a MasterCard, Visa or Discover card, or ATM/debit cards with a Pulse, Star, NYCE or Accel logo online at ebill.jacksonemc.com. There is a fee for these transactions.* You can also check your account balance online and initiate an Electronic Funds Transfer payment from your bank's online payment service. Jackson EMC does not charge a fee to receive EFT transfer payments. 


Call 1-800-325-8597 to pay over the phone directly using our automated payment system, which is available 24/7. We accept VISA®, Mastercard®, and debit cards with the VISA® or Mastercard® logo.   E-checks are also accepted using our automated payment IVR system. A transaction fee will apply.

Automatic Bank Draft

Sign up to pay your bill automatically by bank draft at no charge. If you pay by bank draft, a draft will be included in your monthly bank statement showing the date and amount of payment. You'll still receive your monthly electric bill, but it will be marked "Paid by draft." You also have the option of signing up for paperless billing, and an email notification will be sent to you when your new bill is ready. To sign up for automatic payment or paperless billing, contact your local Jackson EMC office or access your account information at ebill.jacksonemc.com.

A Caution About Using Third-Party Bill Payment Websites

Jackson EMC members are advised to be cautious about using third-party websites to process your monthly bill payments. Typically, a third-party online payment service allows consumers to pay multiple bills, including those from utility providers, to a website that is not associated with Jackson EMC. Some of these third-party websites use our logo and colors to make you feel you’re dealing directly with Jackson EMC.

The cooperative isn’t affiliated with online payment services, like Doxo. There is no guarantee of when your payment will be processed, which could result in an interruption in your service if Jackson EMC receives your payment after the due date.

Online payment services may also charge you a fee for processing their payments.

Jackson EMC members can make a free ACH payment using their checking account. Log in or register for free ACH payment at ebill.jacksonemc.com.

Members are encouraged to pay their bills directly to Jackson EMC.

*Transaction Fees: For all payments made by MasterCard, Visa or Discover card or ATM/debit cards with a Pulse, Star, NYCE or Accel logo over the phone, online, or in the office, there will be a charge for each transaction. These transactions are limited to a maximum of $600.00 per transaction. No more than 3 payments in 5 days and no more than 5 payments in 30 days are accepted per account or per credit card.
